Agadir Al-Massira airport baggage info

Think carefully about how you organize your belongings between your hand luggage and your checked luggage to make them easily accessible.

Agadir Al-Massira Airport > Guide > Luggage

In general, the rules concerning prohibited items in baggage are harmonized through the Maroccan Law, but the airlines each have their own rules concerning the number and dimensions of baggage items you can take on board their aircraft.

These rules may vary slightly depending on the airline and the country, so it's advisable to contact your airline if you have any doubts. To avoid any stress at Agadir or other Moroccan airports, we recommend that you study the regulations carefully before packing your bags.

Hand Baggage Rules

It is forbidden to carry items in the cabin that could endanger the aircraft, passengers or crew. Luggage must not contain highly flammable or flammable, explosive, corrosive, toxic or otherwise dangerous substances or objects. Therefore, in case of doubt, we recommend that you place the object in your checked baggage.

At Agadir Al Massira Airport, aviation safety regulations define liquids as :

  •  Fully liquid products (e.g. beverages and perfumes)
  •  Pastes, creams, cosmetic liquids, liquid/solid mixtures and pressurized containers

For airline passengers, this includes items such as toothpaste, hair gel, shaving foam, soups, syrups, spreads and other products of similar consistency. All non-solid foods are also classified as liquids.

It is forbidden to carry liquids and gels in individual containers larger than 2 liters in your hand luggage when boarding at Agadir Al Massira Airport. Aerosols must be in containers of less than 500 milliliters, and the total capacity of aerosols per person is limited to 2 liters. This rule does not apply to medicines or special diet foods.

In your hand luggage, you are allowed to carry :

  1.  Liquids in individual containers of 2 liters or less
  2. Aerosols in containers with a maximum capacity of 500 millilitres, with a total of 2 liters.
  3.  Medication and special dietary foods (including baby food). These items will be inspected, so it is advisable to pack liquid medicines and special dietary foods in such a way as to facilitate their removal from your hand luggage for presentation to security personnel.
  4. Syringes and hypodermic needles (make sure the hypodermic needle is no longer than 6 cm).

The following list is illustrative and does not cover all prohibited items. If in doubt, place the item in your checked baggage.
